Description: A set of tools, guidelines and recommendations will be developed to ensure a successful communication and transfer process of innovative tools for spatial wildfire planning and community involvement. In some cases, the spatial wildfire risk assessment involves the participation of new actors or has to be addressed through participatory processes or platforms involving local communities. In addition, new knowledge and techniques need to be transferred in a practical, concise and easily understandable format. Concepts coming from the operational suppression and civil protection fields have to be adapted to spatial planning actors as end-users and policy makers involved in the decision-making processes.
Expected results: Contents of the guidelines.
